About the lessons:
I teach very fast with a method and approach I created 25 years ago. (Click here for a quick read on “About” me. ) Unlike the old method (which many teachers still use) of teaching on one string at a time and taking months to get to the 2nd or 3rd string, I teach chords right away and even introduce songs using full chords in the beginning. You may encounter the other type of teacher (usually in their early 20’s) that just says “Do what I’m doing and play this.” That doesn’t help either because you have no idea what you are doing. I make it all easy and fun and I get many referrals because people learn quickly and enjoy the whole process.
About me:
I am a professional musician with many years experience recording, producing and performing. I have lived in the southern Westchester area for a very long time (since I was a child). I am well known among other musicians and many people in the local community either because of how long I have lived here or because or the fact that I have been teaching guitar for over 25 years.
About you:
You want to learn guitar but are weary of paying too much or cautious because you are afraid it is too difficult to learn. Maybe you have a weird schedule and can’t do it the same time each week or maybe you know some guitar but want to learn more. I can help. It’s easy to learn, affordable and I can be very flexible with your schedule.
